Another plane crash occurred last night... we'll see what, in the end, caused it, but it's time for European regulatory bodies to wake up and require TCAS installed on all aircraft overflying continental Europe...
The European airspace is so packed that every time I fly, I always see other aircraft zooming past. Luckily, it usually works out, but, in addition to TCAS, centralizing European air traffic control or at least grouping it in larger chunks than mandated by national borders, may also help... (I can just hear the French ATCs go on strike again and again for this... :-(
