Nick Hornby (ed): Speaking With the Angel

Nick Hornby has assembled a great collection of fellow authors for a noble cause:

12 authors, 12 first-person short stories that are as different as they possibly can be, yet maintaining high quality throughout.

Reading the book we are taken through a day, week or month of the lives of characters as different as a young boy, an old woman, a politician, a dog(!), a dead man and more... The wide range of characters made me need a little break between each story, allowing me to digest the story and prepare for a new persona. Perfect for travelling or just reading a story in bed before going to sleep.

Incredibly varied and well written, the stories themselves easily justify buying the book, and on top of that you'll contribute towards proper education for children with autism.

(PS! They sell it at amazon)
