Review: Mike Gayle: Dinner for two

Dinner for two is a book about music journalist Dave Harding "accidentally" choosing a different career path as an "agony uncle" ("Love Doctor Dave") and actually enjoying it.

Dave's married to the woman he loves, but experiences the pressure of a male biological clock ticking when they experience problems conceiving a baby together. Their problems are multiplied when it appears Dave might not be childless after all...

"Dinner for two" is a nice book about teenage love-problems, sensitive men and relationships. The author himself has written for many magazines including Cosmo, and has used some of his original material in the book. A funny read for women who want to understand men better, and for men trying to understand why women understand so little sometimes ;-)
