A while back (OK so I don't check my personal mailbox as often as I should) I received a spam message in Norwegian advertising an internet marketing seminar called Speed Marketing. This seminar appears to be targetting marketing/IT professionals and is dealing with "how to get a more efficient advertising strategy with measurable results and concrete results" etc etc...
Using spamming as advertising tactics has them doomed already in my eyes: if they are going to preach unsollicited email marketing as a "low cost high value add on" to campaigns, they can stick their message where the Sun doesn't shine (Sorry - but I get really upset with people promoting spam): Idiot Marketing - that's what they're preaching!
Seeing that I've posted the following message as an HTML comment on my web-pages since the jacobsen.no domain was launched back in 1997, I thought I'd launch a complaint:

I think this is terribly funny, my apologies if you are attempting to be serious in your litigation with the SPAMers. Even if nothing comes of it, this is a good way to psychologically lighten up the evil SPAM world.
Posted by: Michael Kruckenberg on April 23, 2003 03:30 AMIt was always put in for half-joke; half as a "legal" background to scare any spammers I caught red handed... I'm not expecting to earng the millions of $s I should be getting if I got 500 bucks for each spam, but I to take some sadistic pleasure in yelling at spammers over the phone ;-)
