The Coca-Cola Conspiracy against WHO

Coca-Cola threatens WHO-Gro (also in VG in Norwegian):

American beverage companies are trying to stop the publication of a World Health Organisation (WHO) report about unhealthy nutrition.

According to tabloid Dagbladet, the American beverage companies are using blackmail in an attempt to prevent the report from being published on Wednesday.

Apparently WHO will publish a report tomorrow (Wednesday) where they recommend that the daily intake of calories consist of maximum 10% sugar (as opposed to today's averages, which are much higher). Different pressure groups like the Snack Food Association and The Sugar Association are mailing left, right and center to try to stop Gro Harlem Brundtland's expected announcement.

Update: also in BBC News, The Guardian, Reuters etc
