I got back from vacations to find a couple of voice-mails from an advertising agency asking to acquire my permission to use one of my Swiss Re tower photos.
Of course it would be incredibly cool to see one of my photos in print, not to mention the theoretical possibility of subsidizing my hobby by selling rights to occational shots if there are interested buyers...
What are other photo-bloggers' experiences with this? Meccapixel lists each photo for sale by default, have others been approached regarding sale of images, and what are reasonable asking prices? ... has anyone ever submitted images to stock photography sites online?
Hi,
very good site - I am impressed!
I will try to put some links about RyanAir together - I have yours at place No. 1.
I hope You have nothing against - if so, please let me know and I will remove it from the URL site mentioned above.
I was in the same situation as You but two times!
At first, the Airport Niederrhein ist not the same as Duesseldorf AND Moenchengladbach (Niederrhein). So, I came at 8.00 in the morning to the false airport and was 80 km away from the right one! 130 Euro were lost (2 persons).
Back from Londo to Stansted I had a heavy traffic and came 30 minuts before take-off. Another 130 Euro and one night in Stansted Airport - there is no hotel as You know. Next morning, take-off 6.00, the last passenger came into machine at .... 6.00 o'clock. Yes, at 6.00, 1 second before the door was closed.
I find the customer satisfaction at RyanAir plays no role - only cash from late passengers.
So I decided to make a site for all the people unsatisfied with tricksy RyanAir.
In the next future there will be dont-fly-ryanair.com and dont-fly-ryanair.info sites available.
Bestwishes
Josef Cissek
