The Library Hotel, New York

Håkon Styri links to the Library Hotel, just next to the New York Public Library.

How creative is this? They number the rooms after the Dewey decimal classification system! I was very impressed (and how about booking 800.001? ;-)

Apparently they creativity is under siege from the owners of the Dewey system, though... Interestingly, I had no idea the Dewey system was "owned" at all, seeing that it's ages old and widely used...

Since the oclc is a non-profit, maybe there is an exception to the protected period, as it happens in UK with the Peter Pan rights, owned by some hospital.
