What's that site where you can ask the Jews?

Real instant messenger conversation with a friend yesterday:

Colleague: Hey Anders, what's that site where you can ask the Jews questions?
Me: ???
Colleague: AskTheJews or something
Me: Aaaaah.... AskJeeves.com ?
Colleague: Yeah, that's the one - ask jews
Me: Umm.. Jews and Jeeves are not the same
Colleague: ?
Me: Well.. The Jews are a people, Jeeves is the name of an archetypical English butler in books by P. G. Wodehouse
Colleague: Ah.. I always wondered what the Jews had to do with it... if they were considered incredibly knowledgeable or something
Me: Um.... Right....

I swear I'm not making this up.

He he, well I might be in the same boat. At least I didn't know who Jeeves where. I mean the Jews is known to be smart, aren't they? ;)

:-)))
may I just add that the reason why the search engine is called Ask Jeeves: Jeeves knows everything, and can foresee a way to handle any situation, always getting his employer out of trouble.

Jeeves is really funny!

That is supremely bizarre... Its like the unaired episode of Family Guy (its on the DVD) where the dad is in financial trouble, and hears that jews are good with money, so he wishes upon a star that he will be sent a jew, and one arrives because his car is broken. I think the big song was called something like, "When I Wish Upon A Jew" or something. Very questionable, but quite funny. It really isn't anti-semetic, because its all obviously making fun of people's stereotypes, but it ruffled enough feathers to prevent it from being aired.

AskJews.com.. lol

If this had happened to me, I'd be worried about admitting that I have clueless bozos like this as colleagues...

I taught Moses everything he knows.

Hey , TomP... I think some wise dude said: The only thing I know is that i know nothing. (at least something like that)

There's nothing wrong about admitting to cute little mistakes like that. Actually I do like people like that better than people who never wants to admit they are mistaken. Self-pretentious people are very sad.

My question is this....

As a Jew, should I be insulted at being stereotyped, or flattered at being thought incredibly knowledgeable?

Which is the politically correct attitude?
