The Boots chain of drugstores in UK has a decent offer on printing digital photos: if ordering 50+ photos (6x4") you get them printed for £0.10/photo (that's approximately US$0.18 a piece).
Unfortunately I had a very annoying experience with them last week: burning a CD with 184 photos from the summer holiday and recent family & friends reunions, I paid £18.40, but only got 164 photos delivered, some of which were even slightly scratched/dented. Of course, trusting Boots, I didn't count the photos when I picked them up, I only realized a day later (when I noticed one particular family event missing).
Such a small thing - 2 pounds worth of missing photos - now means Boots is missing a potentially large customer.
I am now looking for alternatives; looks like Jessops has a similar offer - does anyone else have any good experiences with high street / decently priced digital printers in UK?
Colorama?
