Firefox 1.0 PR

Internet Explorer-crushing browser Mozilla Firefox is out in a new version - 1.0 PR. I've been using version 0.9 regularly for quite some time and wholeheartedly recommend it for ease of use as well as general flexibility (see for example AdBlock for a much cleaner visit to ad-laden news websites).

I just downloaded 1.0 PR; look forward to giving it a spin. Funky new features include:

  • Ability to read RSS ("live bookmarks" - not a bad analogy)
  • Better protection from ads and bad stuff; ability to allow blocked popups
  • and a lot more (and of course it's still free!)
