Here's a tidbit for those interested in up and coming artists: check out singer/songwriter Ben's Brother. We heard him play on a recent gig in Woody's Bar (Westbourne Park/Notting Hill) and he was definitely one of the highlights of the evening.

The website (bensbrother.com) has a Flash-based mechanism for playing a fair amount of his tracks as well (check out #2 "Rise" and #3 "Live" for a taster)

I took some photos, but with extremely dim stage lighting (darker than the rest of the room, even) it was tough getting anything presentable, even at ISO 1600 and f/1.4 (very open aperture). Might post something at extrospection later.
