Operacaféen

I went to Operacaféen at Grønland in Oslo with some friends in the weekend. A combined restaurant and "opera á la Carte"-concept, it was an opportunity to catch up with my old friends, sample some decent food and broaden my horizon with live opera performances by local freelance artists all night. The venue reminded me a bit of le Bilboquet in Paris (except, of course, providing entertainment in a different genre).

All in all a recommended night out if in the neighbourhood.

(I had prepared a rather obscure aria-request, but didn't have to as the singers bring their repertoires and guests can generally only select from the "menu")
