At this last day of 2004 I would like to thank this site's numerous subscribers, visitors and commenters for a making this a fun year.
Tonight it's New Year's Eve, the drunken kids are already out in the London streets, as are the Hare Krishna dancers and everyone else keen on celebrating the passing of 2004 into 2005.
As regular visitors will have seen, this website as well as other blogs hosted on this site (my photoblog, the group weblog RFIDbuzz.com) have some discreetely placed "sponsored links" to pay for site hosting.
Hosting for 2004 more than paid for, I have decided to donate US$ 150 to the British Red Cross (through Amazon's non-profit charity drive) to support the emergency aid work currently going on after this week's tsunami in the Indian Ocean.
I challenge other webloggers that are able to to contribute similarly.
I would like to thank sponsors, friends, other webloggers and all visitors for making this possible; wishing everyone a happy new year in 2005.
NOK 1500 has been sent to www.redcross.no several days ago. I've also signed up as a regular donor.
