In a typically British manner, everyone is sitting down, carrying as normal with the occasional gathering around the television to listen to Charles Clarke tell us what we already know; nobody knows what’s going on. So why don’t we just have a cup of tea, relax and wait to see what happens.

Security has locked down our office and advising noone to go out. Lunch from the snack machine; BBC News 24 rolling on all the plastma screens in the building.
