Not so funny for the cows, but very environmentally friendly use of the leftovers of the ones that were headed for the arbattoir anyway:
BBC: Cows make fuel for biogas train
The world's first biogas-powered passenger train is taking its first passengers between the Swedish cities of Linkoping and Vastervik. And the biogas comes from the entrails of dead cows.
And with so many different things to run engines on. Someone needs to commit to using then and making a product that everyday people can use. I'd be happy if a couple gas pumps pumped bio fuel of come sort. Although I can't recommend doing that with cow guts.
