London 2011+1 releases their logo and branding programme

This morning, the organizers of the large sports event to be held in London in the year following 2011 announced their new branding, their logo and brand values.

I wanted to write about it here, but it appears that the words "London 2012" and "2012" as well as the words "Olympic", "Olympiad", "Olympian" (and their plurals), the words "Paralympic", "Paralympiad", "Paralympian" (and their plurals) and any other word I could use to describe the event have been reserved as official trade marks owned by or licensed to London 2012.

Watch out if you want to do anything in 2011+1: the whole year has been trademarked!
